Teaching Philosophy
A guiding principle of my teaching is to create a nurturing environment where students can discover their potential and navigate the challenges of the instrument. I prioritize understanding each student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles so I can tailor my instruction to their individual needs. I strive to provide a solid foundation and an advanced grasp of the techniques, while cultivating fulfillment and joy from the learning process. Striking this balance helps build healthy practice habits and gives students space to develop their unique voice, particularly vital, as the violin is an instrument that rewards patience and persistence.
Violin Studio
Over the years, I have had the privilege of guiding students to notable achievements, including All-region and All-state placements, acceptance into local ensembles (GDYO, DAAYO), and top prizes in competitions.
